Run sndconfig as root. Kudzu should automatically detect it, though.
Creative developed emu10k1 support available at their web site.
If it's simply a matter of sound, run sndconfig. Make sure the esound
daemon is running at startup as well.
Check back if all that seems kosher and it still doesn't work. Check
with other speakers as well.
You are just talking about sound, right? No EAX or anything special?
