Thanks to everyone who responded to my question (below) about overwriting
the shadow file on my Solaris box. I did make a backup! Then I copied
the old /etc/shadow and /etc/passwdfile files over the new ones. It
worked! So I've replicated all of my users and their passwords from one
Solaris box to another one.

By the way, this was a good way to migrate things: I'd tar/gzip stuff,
scp it to my PC, burn it to CD, then put the CD in the new Sun and install
the stuff. That way I migrated everything over before I put the Sun on
the 'net. I'm also downloading Recommended & Security Patches to my PC
(.zip file), burning to CD and taking that to the Sun. So it will be all
patched up before it hits the 'net.
