on this note, my g/f's gateway started having issues when the
/var/log/http/error_log file reached 1.5 GB (2.1GB hard drive)due to Code
Red hammering on the machine. I almost freaked when I logged into the box
and everything I did caused a seg fault.
I guess we're not "invulnerable" to Windows viruses after all... =)

Might check your ulimit's (ulimit -a) and check to make sure your logs
aren't to big too.. since usually it's logged when you su.
