I'm trying to distribute my cable connection to the computers on my LAN. I
have my linux box hooked up to the cable and am running Mandrake 8.0 on it.
I know that I can do it using ipfwadm, but that isn't installed on my
system. When I try to insmod the ipfwadm.o file, it doesn't kick out any
errors, but it won't let me run ipfwadm either. I'm not really that worried
about the security of the system right now so much as I am about actually
getting the connection distributed. I know that I can use ipchains as a
firewall.
I guess the short version is, how exactly do I get ipfwadm working?
