I seem to be having a problem connecting to Samba too on my win2k box. I am
using the tiger link DSL that you can get through Mizzou (err and Verizon).
Now I dont know if they filter out the ports (137-139) at Verizons FR but it
seems to connect but then tosses up a box saying incorrect username and
password. I am living on the 128.206.151.* set but its being a b*tch about
letting me connect. Also My Bengal permissions are all jacked up. I think
that might have happened on the data restore but I might need someone to go
in and change them around becasue I dont have access permissions on folders
that I have created. Also the permissions on some of my files are set to be
web viewable but whenever the browser hits it tosses up a forbidden error.
Any body know of any known issues on this one?

Ryan

See, I know I'm not filtered. I've almost got a direct hop there. I'm
in the 128.206.190.0/255.255.254.0 subnet. Traceroute leads to 191.254,
4.190, and then bengal itself.
I can't help but think this might be something screwy with the fact that
I'm trying to connect through linux, on a different domain. I'm part of
the "CF" domain...
Thanks!
