Let's actually clear this up.

We prevented logins to keep folks from altering their data.  Both Showme and
the supercluster are being migrated to Bengal.  So far, the engineering SGI
lab as well as the GCB Linux labs are done.  We'll get Physics tomarrow. 
When the labs reopen, they'll be Bengalfied :-)

There's a ton of DNS changes being made

As of 8am monday morning, the bengal system will have taken on the role of
showme.  You will still be able to ssh to 'showme.missouri.edu' (until Jan 1
, 2002 or so).  You really should ssh to 'bengal.missouri.edu' instead.

As for (ssh'ing) to individual nodes, please don't.  Let the load balance do
it's job.

My crew is working on Bengal right now.  We on target and might even be done
well before 8am on Monday.
