I believe it's the acceleration. To fix the flicker, you have to turn it
off. There are s few other cards like this, and I'm not sure what they do to
fix it. May also be the display timing.

Hi,

I've just upgraded to Xfree-4.1.0

I have a cheap trident 9660-based video card.

Anyhow, my screen flickers whenever anything moves... scrolling text,
moving the mouse etc. It's really annoying. 

On the other hand, the drivers are now fully accelerated and I can
smootly drag windows around the screen. Just with terrible flickering of
the whole screen while I do.

Can anyone guess what's going on?
