Jason,
Don't count on running your own postgresql service. We'll have db access
(oracle, mysql) stuff fer ya... (in /usr/local).

Subject: RE: [MLUG] Bengal
Yeah, NCP is the novell connectivity software, which works fine from
certain environments. Of course, there's also Appletalk, and about a
dozen other systems, including Coda. My concern is just whether I can get
access to the thing. In other words - I know what NCP is, but is the
bengal server going to run it?
I'm curious as to what services it's going to provide. Will there be
database access for the web sites? Can I run my own postgresql server on
port 20000? Etc.?
Thanks!
Jason McIntosh
