I would be interested in being involved with this, initially as a student,
perhaps at some point as a teacher.
I have some experience with Linux (esp. RedHat 6.2 and 7.0/7.1).
I am new to MLUG. How do I get involved with the Linux Tutorial project and
what can I do to help?
A.

You know... and this is more of the information should be free bit in my
head, but I bet this group could come up with some sort of lesson plan or
curriculum to accomplish this task/challenge.
We've got something similar here for our Entry Sysadmin's. Granted, it does
require a bit of working knowledege and it is tailored for the working
environment.
Just thinking out loud...
Cheers,
Ryan

Subject: [MLUG] looking for a Linux tutor
Hello everyone. I am looking for a Linux tutor for myself. I have not had
much success learning linux through books or over the internet. Well, I've
had limited success. I figure If I keep going at this rate I'll understand
Linux by about the year 2006.
What I would like is someone who could tutor me. I would like to start from
the ground up and move up to things like re-compiling rpms. I can work hard
on my own, I just would like some direction in learning this. I think I
could learn a lot faster if there was a Linux pro out there who wanted to
help me out. :-) I'm located in Columbia, MO I think I could pay around $8
an hour, but that is negotiable.
Thanks!
