yes, I would agree that IMs are great for short messages....those couple of
sentances you can shoot back and forth rapidly to one person. Most of the
time though email is good enough, or some other chat client (IRC) for
realtime discussion.
Those 5 word emails really don't bother me... it's those damn forwards and
unnecessary attachments and crap that gets passed around and spamm.
