Hmmmm....   I'll proabably do something similar.   ImageMagik was what I
found as well.

Why do you like cropped instead of resized?   Actually the thumbnails I see
when I browse a directory with Windows Me look great.  I just need something
similar for use on the web.

I'll look around some more and see what will be the easiest to customize...
