Hello,
Has anyone worked with smoothwall linux before? Its one of those
router/firewall deals that you put on an old 486. I tried it, and i got
the "green" interface (the one that is safe that goes to your lan) working
on an SMC Ultra ISA card, but can't get the "red" interface (the one going
to internet) working on an Intel Etherexpress Pro 10/10+ card.
I tried insmod, modprobe. I even made sure that the bios was doing pnp
assignments and then checked with a DOS bootup disk the irq status. I also
used the dos program for the Intel card to set its I/O and irq to make
sure. I don't know what the problem is with this card.
