RE: [MLUG] IMAP Client
Email address obfuscation in effect -- please click here to turn it off.

On a related note...does anyone know of a hospital email server (POP or
IMAP) that actually works all the time. Sometimes I can connect fine and
other times it asks me to enter my password again and click connect. I keep
doing that and it just keeps asking me to enter my password again. I used
it to think it was just a Windows thing, but my RH box is doing the same
thing tonight. I have tried pop.health.missouri.edu,
imap.health.missouri.edu, mail.health.missouri.edu, etc...

They are probably the same machine. Does anyone else have this problem with
the hospital exchange servers? I have had problems with both AT&T and
Charter cable modem service, so I don't think it is my provider.

Thanks.

I recommend Mulberry. It's not free in any sense of the word, but it's
definitely worth it. It's easily the most advanced email software I've
seen in terms of configurability. It really takes advantage of all IMAP

has to offer, instead of being a POP program with IMAP functionality
tacked
on later. The Unix port is a slight bit rough around the edges, as it's

still kind of new. Its multiple accounts/personality settings are very
powerful. It also handles POP pretty well, and can treat a POP mailbox
almost exactly like an IMAP one.
The website is http://www.cyrusoft.com/

Netscape Mail isn't too bad. Checking multiple accounts works well, but
it
more work than it should to change your 'from' address.

You could also use Mutt, which I absolutely love for the console.
