Hey everyone,
I'm thinking about setting up a DNS server on a private LAN for experience
points and to provide local DNS services. Does anyone have any pointers,
advice, warnings, etc.? I'm going to use BIND. Although it can be a huge
security risk, I need to get it down to a science anyway. I'm going to use
Linux as well :)
Thanks for any advice. I'll keep it in mind.
One other thing: does anyone have a small hard drive, SCSI or IDE? I just
need one big enough to handle DNS stuff. Speed helps too, but it can
survive with a 5400 IDE if I have to.
