[MLUG] Evil Ports

Hey everyone,

I tried shutting down Xinetd, then I tried uninstalling it along with all
the server software sans OpenSSH stuff, and I keep getting these results:

Interesting ports on dfiatx97-124.dfiatx.dsl.gtei.net (4.3.97.124):

13      filtered    tcp        daytime
17      filtered    tcp        qotd
19      filtered    tcp        chargen
22      open        tcp        ssh
69      filtered    tcp        tftp
79      filtered    tcp        finger

Again, Xinetd is not installed, nor is tftp or finger. I don't know what's
going on. All I know is that these ports should not be in a filtered
state, period. The firewall ruleset was not turned on during this scan.
