Here's a second messages from WinSCP author Martin Přikryl (appended).  I
like his session-storing idea.  That will work for me.  I'm sure this will
help to increase the size of the executable, but it's only 400 KB right
now.  (And yes, the entire program is a single executable, just like
PuTTY.)  --Mike

Next version will support session storing under unique name. You will be
able to launch winscp with this name as parameter. All stored options
(including host name, username, password, port, cipher, ssh protocol
version, compression, public key, and many more) will be used to launch
session.

Maybe even your way could be also suported.
