I downloaded a program called WinSCP (http://winscp.vse.cz/eng/) which is
based on Simon Tatham's pscp (Tatham wrote PuTTY), but it gives a really
nice gui interface on windows. I think it is just great, except for one
thing. The problem is about scp, I guess, and not about WinSCP:
If I copy a text file between windows and unix, the CR/LF translation
isn't done. It's a straight binary copy. With FTP, I can choose ascii
mode and have the translation done automatically. Is there any way to
make scp do the translation?
I have dos2unix and unix2dos commands on the unix end to fix files, so I
can deal with it, but it's an annoying extra step. I don't have unix2dos
on the PC -- is it out there? (i.e., for win/dos, not cygwin)
