Mahmad,

I am having difficulty understanding your question. Are you talking about
lilo on a duel boot winme system? If so do you need the boot disk to boot
into win or linux if you need one at all? What are your partitions like?
Where did you install lilo? In the MBR (Mater boot record) or in root of
redhat boot partition? Basically you gave good start info but you might need
to specify a little more what type of install you made. Im not a guru but
then again who is? Im assuming you are having probelms booting because of
linux loader. If you put it in the root you will always need a boot disk, if
you put it in the MBR then lilo might be fudged. In the install of Redhat 7
it asks you where to install lilo and what OSes you want it to control and
where to boot them. If you installed winMe after linux windows will rewrite
the MBR causing LILO to poof. You said FAT16? If I am correct I believe that
ME is on FAT32 and I know linux is on EXT2...where did FAT16 come from?

Basically give us the info on how it is setup and where lilo is and how you
installed it. Well try to help as much as we can but I expect that the
reason you have not gotten many replies is that people dont exactly
understand your question. You also might want to read as much as you can
about linux on the 'net. Try linuxnewbie.org and other newbie guides Im sure
that is how alot of us got our start in linux....
