Actually, there isn't any. They are the same card, essentially, except that
the AWE64 is different physically (smaller and no memory expansion). The
same driver should work for both.

That's weird... That's what all my dos games do and that's why I hate
winblows - it assigns a weirdo IRQ to the soundcard and most games want 5 or
7 (which are occupied by the parallel port). PCs suck, really.
