I'm wondering what you all think of Windows XP's user login screen.
To me, it seems like a nicer looking login screen than any of the
available open source options, but it also has a really nice feature: You
can leave programs running and log out, then someone else can use the
machine, and after they log out, you can log back in and, if the machine
hasn't crashed yet ;) then your programs and files would still be open.
Is that a good idea? If so, can the open source community replicate that
kind of functionality with X-Windows?
