Yes yes and yes, get one now...  I have a DC, a PSX, and an N64.  I'm a
game nerd, and the DC is my favorite system by far.  The games are
generally better than what you'd find on other systems (even if that's not
your thing), and development of both Linux and NetBSD on the DC is quite
active.  I'm actually planning on getting another DC (or 2 or 3 or...)
just in case mine shoots craps.  I've been holding off on the PSX2, but I
started actively pursuing one last night when I heard that Sega was in bed
with Sony.  What I'm really looking forward to, though, is the GBA.  I
haven't had a working Game Boy in a long time, and some Mario AND Sonic
love will be had.  If you do go ahead and get the DC, get the "Smash
Pack" for the paltry price of $119.95, and you can play some of the Sega
classics like Golden Axe.

Sega is dead.
