To get beos to run the way it is supposed to:
1. Build a blank partition at least 2 * the amount of ram you have plus 200M.
This is a minimum, so it can be more.
2. Follow instructions included in the Beos tar.gz file found on the _FTP_
sites
3. Boot into BeOS, then run Installer under applications. You can then install
BeOS to the new partition.
4. Setup your Boot Manager to have the new partition an option when booting.
These are rough, but should work in general.
