No IDs or passwords are needed for accessing news.missouri.edu when
comming in from Mizzou or Med Center network IP addresses.
This is an INN 2.2 server running under RH6.0 on a Dell rack mount
machine. The news spool holds 2.3M articles on average in 8000 newsgroups
(95 linux plus 42 *nix newsgroups), typically accepting 250,000 or so new
articles every day. Except for the alt newsgroups the article retention on
the news spool is about a week.
