Windows and Linux do NOT get along. I have a dual boot machine at home with
a hard drive for Linux and a seperate one for Windows. They exist
beautifully together. In my meanderings on the net however I have seen many
questions about why Windows and Linux Do Not exist well on the same hard
drive. They fight each other constantly. I personally am not the savvy
Linux guru I wish to be yet and have no answers. I know that it is
possible, but it is also a huge headache from what I have heard. To avoid
the headache use a seperate drive. If you love the challenge, however, this
could be the project for you. I know it is possible, just not easy.
