[UUG/MLUG] Hdd's?

Reminds me, I just added an 18G Western Digital drive to my roommates P100
and I had to add the included EZ Bios fix software to allow DOS/Windows to
see over 8G of it (even after applying the newest bios upgrade) and I want
to use about 5G of the drive for Linux. Does anybody know if Linux will see
the full drive and if partitioning part of it as Linux would damage the
Windows partitions since it relies on special Windows software?
