I am ALL FOR getting Linux out to the mass public.  I am always trying to
coax my friends into installing it.  I think your idea is great!.  We should
seriously think about organizing something like that.  BTW, I installed
CorelLinux the other day and am VERY impressed.  I've seen Caldera installed
and CorelLinux is even easier than that.  It's got a very well done file
manager in which you can access the Windoze and NFS network the first time
you boot without any configuration.  It is missing some things in the way of
packages (like pico).  I have a burnt CD of it if any one would like to try
it out.
