When I made the jump from Redhat to SuSE, this was one thing that was
difficult. It took me two tries to get my AWE32 card to work.
At www.suse.com there is an excellent support database which details how
to get sound working in SuSE Linux 6.2. The two pages that you probably
need are at:
http://sdb.suse.de/sdb/en/html/rb_soundinstall.html
http://sdb.suse.de/sdb/en/html/rb_isapnp.html
That is, if you have an ISA-PnP sound card (E.G. AWE64). If you have any
questions e-mail me.
