They didn't just hack together a system. They are developing
USB, serial, & parrallel peripherals. psx2.com has a bit of info,
but mostly alludes to scraps from Core magazine. Supposedly
the system won't launch in the US until the Fall of 2000. Check

You can chuck that dual alpha system with the fancy 32 & 64 meg
video cards out the window when this becomes a reality.
