The chip is real; it's used in the PlayStation 2. Looks like someone may
have managed to hack together a Linux system that runs well enough on it to
compile PoVray with optimizations and execute it. If so, it would probably
be capable of producing the listed results, although it might not be as
effective for general-purpose use even assuming someone were to build a full
distribution for it.
