CGA is 16 color. 256 color is VGA, and even then, they are analog as far as
the signal levels. the color limitation is due to the video card, unless
some strange kind of quantified level signal interpretation is done by the
monitor. That's not likely. I bet they are some kind of fixed frequency VGA
monitor, and even if they are multisync, they probably have some low refresh
frequency.

Michael, was thinking some more about those used 21" monitors... you are
saying they are CGA and not VGA monitors right?... even if only CGA how
much do you think one of them might cost?... also would be interested in
4Mx9 60-70ns 30pin SIMMs (need four of them)... depending on the cost I
