Well the addresses would be prefered if they remained the same and only
changed if a new computer was dropped in or if there was a conflict. I'm not
quite sure what is meant by the idea that I'd hafta colect al the mac
addresses for it to work. The iMac (yes I know mac addresses have nothing to
do w/ Mac's) we used at the show I'm assuming nobody took it's mac and it
worked just by plugging in the wire. Maybe it's not a big deal but when you
set up twenty new computers in a day by yourself having to set each IP by
hand is extremely annoying because it takes time you don't have so I was
fairly impressed w/ the ease of getting on the network at the expo. The
current process to get a new address takes contacting someone else which is
a pain. :)
