[UUG/MLUG] turning off Apache headers with cgi

Greetings,

Does anyone recall how to tell apache that you'll
take care of the http header info etc.  In other
words, I'd like to be able to print out the 302, 404
error messages myself, via a cgi, and have apache just
shut-up and pass my output verbatim.  I've seen it
done, but can't find it any my books.
