Scott,
Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck using the scanner under Linux yet...
but haven't tried too hard either. (I was mainly interested in the copier
function :) So I'm not surprised at the 'dunno' answers. It is of note too
that the scanner is low resolution and meant for printed text and drawing
type documents, (class notes work great). Photos don't even fit too well in
the scanner opening.
BTW.. you can get just the printer sans copier/scanner for around $389 the
last I checked. And I'll add again.. the print quality is excellent...
under Linux too. (Although I lose my HP supplied CG Times font.. anyone know
how to get that under Linux?)
