I'm a big fan of the HP laserjets. I've got a 6L that only cost about
400, so it's probably cheaper now.
Before I bought, I did some digging, and an inkjet might be cheaper to
buy, but is more expensive to maintain. One laser toner cartrige by far
outlast inkjet cartriges of the same value. I don't print a whole lot,
but so far, I've had the HP6L for about 2 years (give or take) and had
absolutly no maintenance. None.
