Other than buying my old LaserJet 4P? :-) It's a slow laser that you
could throw an ethernet card into...
But seriously, I do think that if you don't need color, don't care about
speed, but do need something sturdy, Linux-compatible and bullet-proof,
you could do far worse than getting a used HP laser of some kind, assuming
they're cheaper than the new ones. This might be the only/best way to
get the ethernet compatibility/upgradability.
