One's a single processor kernel, the other is a multiple processor kernal.
Ran into that when I had a motherboard with two processors. Redhat installs
both of those, I suspect in case there is a problem with the multiple
processor support. *shrug* Don't know why they did that, but that's what
it's all about.
Not sure if your board has two or not, but that's what I understand it to be
there for.
