So I was thinking about upgrading "the hard way" to 6.0
by installing the rpms and recompiling the kernel sort of by hand.
But some of the rpm packages (libc)(glibc)(etc) conflict with the already
installed components. How do I upgrade/replace?
And I can't seem to get glint to find all the RPMS that I have from 6.0 (or
any other RPMS for that matter) is there some special place I need to put
them? I tried configuring it to look in teh dir where they are, saving, and
clicking Available.
I also tried it again after rebuilddb. Are there necessary perms? glint
runs by root in x.
