I definitely don't want to do the install myself, to tell you the truth.
I just have a philosophical and intuitive problem with the idea that i
need/should/would rather have a Microshaft product on my laptop than a
Linux/X ballpark combination to do as simple of a task as netsurfing.
I realize netsurfing is slow and not altogether tolerable, but it can
happen, and even eventually display pictures.
How can I make this happen with Linux? There has got to be a way.
One friend of mine implied that some apps are even faster with wine than
they are under native situations...
Does anyone empathize w/ me at all?
