Hey all I got 6.0 to go on a 486.
The install disk had been hangin on aic7xxx which this old clunker has none
of.
6.0 was also hanging for me on X detection for my video and monitor, which I
did not install X here because of small disk space, but the LILO part DID
work as did the "create your own boot disk" sections both of which failed
when I tried it on the other machine that has 2 scsi disks and 1 scsi cd.
Wish i could get it to run, i'd like to play with the 6.0 X stuff.
But it went on the 486 clean as a whistle...
