Thank you very much, I think that did it. That is odd. Why do you think
that's there? I looked for a log called missingok and there isn't anything
like that. If it is a log. And I did install the new version of samba by
rpm. I didn't install Apache by rpm but rather removed the old rpm by
calling rpm -e apache and compiled the new one with php3 so I can experiment
(so I can use the power to get my web sites up when the sdsl line comes in).
