That's odd, I just started getting the same error.
 
At a guess, you just installed a new version of SAMBA recently, right?  Esp.
one based off an RPM?  I just built/installed my own apache, and I was
getting a similar problem.  It stems from logrotate, a program designed to
rotate your logs (duh).  Edit /etc/logrotate.d/samba, and put a pound-sign
in front of the missingok lines.

I keep on getting this error from my system through mail.
 
error: samba:3 unknown option 'missingok' -- ignoring line
 
What does it mean, and what do I have to fix. Says its from /etc/cron.daily
but when I look there, nothing refers to samba.
