Basically, no. You'll need to ftp (upload) the file to your account on the
remote machine (of course now that I've said it, someone's gonna pull out an
obscure rfc and prove me that telnet indeed provies file transfer capability
;-)). I also noticed that you were asking about how to set up pine on your
machine. From watching this discussion list, pine just plain sucks, and the
text editor of choice is mutt.
