I need to ask a favor on behalf of another faculty member.  He needs to
rerun an analysis and is looking for a faster machine to meet a
deadline.  He has a single PII with 512 MB of memory.  The job grabs
about 400 meg of that, so it's needed.  The job doesn't parallelize at
all so my SMP machines can't really help him.

If you have a fast machine with a few spare cycles this week, it would
be a big help.
