Also from slashdot, Phil Karn has already released a kernel patch to
disable the infamous PentiumIII "feature." That didn't take long. Anyone
lucky enough to own such a machine can download the patch for 2.2.2 at:
http://people.qualcomm.com/karn/code/
Karn notes that the 2.2.3 kernel will most likely include a better patch.
