I would discourage this as CDs have a lifetime beyond the security holes
that make them dangerous. That is, someone installing off of an old CD
is doing oneself a disservice, because the version is more than likely
insecure. If I could tell you the overall distribution of reported
security incidents within MOREnet, you would never burn a Linux CD-ROM.
Sorry to have to cite unverifiable figures, but they are an incident
waiting to happen.
