Well... depends on the load of the machine, but usually microseconds after
recieving the mail intended for you... as sendmail attempts a delivery
into your mailbox, it checks for the existance for a ~/.forward ... if
such a file exists, your mail gets queued to be resent to the address in
your ~/.forward.
Similiar process if you're in /etc/aliases under another email address.
If you are, sendmail skips (I belive) the looking for ~/.forward.
