Mike. When did I even imply that I know nothing about him?
I was discussing your apparent zeal to accept a fiction (if it is) and
even cite it as probable fiction but then go on to address it like it
was words from his lips as though even if he didn't say it, it's close
enough to what you think he has said on other things as to make no
nevermind and we'll just discuss it like he really did say it. (I mean
afterall... he had to be _thinking_ it even if he didn't _say_ it,
right?)
Sounds like you have plenty of reason to despise him w/o manufacturing
scenarios.
All I'm asking for is honest rhetoric.

Interesting. They present this as "Karl Rove's secret playbook":
We must "blacken Obama up." Run clips of him using black vernacular,
playing basketball, etc. Edit the videos to make him look darker. If
we're caught, we can dismiss the charges as "paranoia."
Sounds like classic Rove, and probably an effective strategy. They should
I'm sorry... what? Sounds like classic Rove? Are you suggesting that
Rove has put forth plans like this, similar, either to this or somehow
tactically similar regarding a dissimilar subject matter? Or are you
just saying that your dislike for Rove extends to calling anything
hateful and manipulative like this 'Classic-Rove-esque'? Are they
implying that Rove actually penned or said this, or is this propaganda
that one of them made up in the guise of 'If I was the evil Rove, I'd
say this'? If the latter, I'm really surprised that you would cite such
rhetoric in a positive light.
I don't know if it is true, but it is definitely Rovesque. Do you know
nothing about him at all? Watch "Bush's Brain" or read something. How
about the time during the 2000 Republican primary that they claimed McCain
had fathered a black child -- that got them South Carolina. Saying that
Ann Richards was a lesbian in the 1994 Texas gubernatorial race? The 1994
"whisper campaign" claiming that an Alabama judge was a pedophile? My
all-time favorite was the time (1996 Alabama Supreme Court race) when Rove
vicously attacked his own client (Harold See) in flyers delivered to
people's doorsteps just before the election -- they managed to blame these
horrible fliers on the opposition, thus making the opposition look vicious
and unfair. Rove's guy won by a narrow margin. Rove is completely
ruthless and he has no hint of a conscience. His goal is simply to win
and it doesn't matter how it is done. Actually, by far the worst and most
vile example of all, and one that might put Rove in jail, was the
imprisonment of the Governor of Alabama on phony charges. Rove was
involved.
I'll say this on the Republican's behalf -- if they don't try to "blacken
up" Obama, and also "Islamicize" him, they are missing an opportunity to
get votes from a few million morons out there. It is definitely a
strategy that will help them so long as it isn't obvious that they are
doing it. The "terrorist fist jab" idea probably backfired for them but
I'm not sure.
