I would just like to say my dad spent 22 years on the Marine corps and
he still gets benefits from being a retired miltary man. He was only a
Gunnery Sgt so he doesn't get as much as McCain does. But retired
miltary still gets benefits of being ex-military. Should my dad get
MORE benefits since both he and my mom are poor?
And he didn't FAIL being at the academy. They do have very high
standards at the Military Academies. So, in theory he should still be a
pretty good student to actually graduate. And he'd have to be a pretty
good student to get into the acdemy, even though he probably had
connections for his politcal appointment thanks to his dad being
Admiral. Why does it matter where he was at his graduating rank? He
Graduated. And being shot down can happen to the best of pilots in the
miltary. I don't see what his has to do with McCain's military record.
