No, I am guessing that Obama would likely go with a more conservative
democrat. None come to mind immediately, but I would expect him to
choose someone with some governor experience. I don't think you will see
him pull in a representative or a senator to be his running mate unless
they have governor background. I guess if I were to go out on a limb,
someone in the vien of a Zell Miller would be the most obvious choice to
me. Obama needs to bring someone in with more experience and respect
than himself. Miller is a southern conservative democrat and has lots of
experience, though he might be considered too old at 76.
You really do come up with some crazy shit sometimes. Zell Miller is
widely considered a nut case because of his angry rants. He is 76
friggin' years old, Vern -- and you knew that and still thought he'd be a
good choice?
Edwards is the son of a mill worker. When has he come across as elitist
and out of touch? I think you are completely wrong on that one. His only
problem is with how much he spent on his haircuts. Also his wife is dying
of cancer, but that can work both ways.
