Anyway, those wars will be alright, since it is a democrat who wants to do it.
You guys sometimes seem to live in a make-believe world where all
decisions are based on ideology and political there is no underlying
reasoning behind anything. That is only how things work in your party.
When Bush attacked Afghanistan, I was all for it. Great idea. Let's get
bin Laden. When he wanted to go into Iraq, I thought "he must know a lot
more than he can say right now -- I'll have to trust him." Well, he lied
to me and he screwed me. When Bush said that a nation that harbors
terrorists who attack us is also our enemy, I agreed. I want our
leadership to be fair and consistent. I don't want them to lie to me. I
want them to bomb terrorist enclaves wherever they find them. No nation
should be allowed to harbor terrorist groups.
Pakistan is fairly weak and they cannot clean up their own terrorist
problems. We have to help them. They may say "no - leave us alone," but
what would you say if you had 10 armed terrorists in your house and the
police came to the door? Pakistan's public statements may not reflect
their real wishes.
